An Emergency Response Team Member is responsible for providing rapid, professional on-site support and coordination during company emergencies, ensuring personnel safety, asset protection, and business continuity. This role typically collaborates closely with Security, Human Resources, Operations, and Legal to implement emergency plans, drills, and post-incident reviews.

Key Responsibilities

On-site Emergency Response: Arrive immediately upon an incident, natural disaster, or security threat to conduct an initial assessment, risk stratification, and implement control measures.

Incident Management and Coordination: Liaise with internal teams and external emergency services (police, fire, medical, etc.) to ensure smooth information flow, resource allocation, and communication channels.

Emergency Plan Execution: Implement and update the company's emergency response plan, emergency evacuation routes, shelters, and communications plans.

Record and Report: Document the incident timeline, response measures taken, personnel impact, and losses, and prepare post-incident reports.

Drills and Training: Participate in regular emergency drills and train employees to enhance their self-protection and mutual assistance skills.

Risk Assessment and Improvement: Conduct on-site risk assessments, provide improvement recommendations, and assist in updating safety measures and procedures. Compliance and Confidentiality: Comply with company security policies, privacy, and data protection requirements to ensure information confidentiality.

Equipment and Supplies Management: Maintain the integrity and usability of emergency equipment, first aid kits, and communications equipment, conducting regular inventory and maintenance.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with Human Resources, Facilities, Security, IT, Legal, and other departments to ensure a consistent response to incidents.
