· No child dies from preventable causes before their fifth birthday
· All children learn from a quality basic education and
· Violence against children is no longer tolerated
We run programmes in the remotest corners of India and urban areas in the areas of Health & Nutrition, Education, Child Protection and Livelihood & Economic Wellbeing in order to facilitate quality education, healthcare and protection from harm and abuse and life-saving aid during emergencies to children.
ROLE PURPOSE
The position is temporary 6-month maternity cover
for the
Senior Manager – HR & Safeguarding
position.
The role entails the oversight and execution of key Human Resources initiatives, including Compensation and Benefits, PMS and Safeguarding.
KEY DELIVERABLES
• Compensation & Benefits Management:
Oversee the end-to-end payroll and benefits process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements. Regularly review and update processes to maintain adherence to legal standards. Prepare and monitor the People Budget on a monthly basis and share performance updates with senior leadership.
• HRIS Implementation:
Lead the full-cycle implementation of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), including system configuration, data migration, process mapping, testing, and user training. Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and drive adoption across all departments in alignment with HR and organizational objectives.
• Performance Management System (PMS):
Manage the complete PMS cycle—goal setting, performance reviews (mid-year and end-year), ratings calibration, and issuance of performance-related letters. Ensure process consistency, transparency, and timely completion in alignment with organizational performance goals.
• Employee File Management:
Ensure all employee records, including documentation for current and exited employees, are complete, accurate, and audit-compliant. Finalize the review and update of files effective from
January 2025
, ensuring full completion by the defined timeline.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
· Post Graduate in Human Resources or MBA in HR
· years of relevant experience
KEY COMPETENCIES
Technical competencies:
· Proficient in utilizing & managing HRIS
· Payroll administration and statutory compliance management (PF, ESIC, gratuity, etc.)
· HR budgeting and cost optimization
· Performance management systems (goal setting, appraisal cycles, competency mapping)
· Experience in Safeguarding Policy Implementation
