Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Understand the existing automation\LOG ANALYSIS framework architecture, and the modem automation architecture Enhance the testing capability of the framework, as requested by the end-users Collaborate with multiple tools teams, which the framework uses, to narrow-down the issues reported Triage automation\LOG ANALYSIS related issues and fix the bugs reported in the framework, provide quick and robust solutions Optimize execution of the framework Test the bug fixes /enhancements on a live target, before checking-in the code, and update the test-user wiki/guide/setup etc Report and review status on weekly basis
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Scripting Languages: Python
  • Hands on experience in developing Python scripts for modem or embedded device testing is must.
  • Familiarity and experience with multi-threading concepts and multi-threaded programming Familiarity with Python 3.6/3.8 multi-process constructs and implementations
  • Knowledge of the following areas is a plus:
  • Good understanding of modem architecture, 3GPP spec protocols like 5G-NR/LTE/WCDMA/GSM etc. is required.
  • Good analytical, debugging and communication skills
