Job Title: Diploma Engineer Trainee Purchase

Location: Tokai Rika Minda India Pvt. Ltd., Dabaspete

Department: Purchase / Procurement

Job Purpose:

To support the Purchase Department in supplier coordination, material procurement, documentation, and ensuring timely availability of materials as per production and quality requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Procurement Support

  2. Assist in raising purchase requests (PR) and purchase orders (PO).

  3. Track material requirements as per production plan.

  4. Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.

  5. Supplier Coordination

  6. Communicate with vendors regarding order status, pricing, quotations, and delivery schedules.

  7. Assist in supplier evaluation and onboarding documentation.

  8. Material Follow-up

  9. Monitor incoming materials and coordinate with stores/production for receiving and verification.

  10. Update material status reports regularly.

  11. Cost & Data Management

  12. Maintain procurement-related MIS and data in ERP/SAP systems.

  13. Collect quotations, prepare comparison sheets, and support cost-saving initiatives.

  14. Quality & Compliance

  15. Coordinate with Quality team for supplier quality issues.

  16. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, ISO/IATF guidelines.

  17. Documentation & Reporting

  18. Maintain records of POs, delivery challans, invoices, and supplier communication.

  19. Prepare daily/weekly purchase follow-up reports.

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Automobile / Electronics / Industrial Engineering (or relevant branch).
  • 0–1 year experience (Freshers can apply).

Skills Required:

  • Basic knowledge of procurement processes.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word).
  • ERP/SAP knowledge (added advantage).
  • Ability to handle vendor follow-ups and documentation.
