Role Description

This is a
full-time, on-site role
for a
Communications Assistant
located in
Kolkata
.

The Communications Assistant will be responsible for
drafting and sending professional emails
,
regular follow-ups
,
coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
, and supporting
strategic communication initiatives
.

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Managing and maintaining professional communication channels.
  • Drafting press releases, articles, and internal communication materials.
  • Supporting social and editorial teams with communication needs.
  • Ensuring consistency and clarity in organizational messaging.
  • Collaborating with different departments to streamline internal and external correspondence.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong skills in
    professional emailing
    ,
    writing
    , and
    communication.
  • Proficiency in
    Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail, Calendar, etc.)
    .
  • Experience with
    Press Releases, Strategic Communications, and Internal Communications.
  • Familiarity with
    CRM systems
    (HubSpot, Zoho, or similar) will be a
    plus.
  • Excellent command of written and verbal English; attention to tone, grammar, and clarity.
  • Ability to
    work collaboratively
    and manage multiple tasks efficiently in an on-site setup.
  • Master's degree
    in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field
    preferred.
  • 1–2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
    is a plus.
