Application Engineer – Camera & Embedded Vision (Surveillance BU)

e-con Systems, a leading OEM/ODM in camera and embedded vision solutions, is expanding its
Surveillance Business Unit
and looking for an
Application Engineer
to support global customers across pre-sales, design, and production stages.

You'll be the technical bridge between customers and internal teams—helping integrate e-con's camera modules and AI vision products into smart surveillance systems. The role demands a mix of technical depth, customer interaction, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support customer PoCs, solution design, and integration on embedded platforms (NVIDIA Jetson, Qualcomm, ARM).
  • Debug and optimize camera pipelines (MIPI, USB, GMSL, GigE) using Linux, V4L2, and GStreamer.
  • Provide field support from prototype to production and feedback to R&D.
  • Conduct technical training and contribute to documentation.

Requirements:

  • Strong in Embedded Linux, C/C++, Python.
  • Exposure to camera sensors, ISPs, or imaging systems.
  • Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and customer-first approach.
