We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Java Developer,654 to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, cloud-native digital products on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role involves full lifecycle development, driving innovation, ensuring code quality, and collaborating within a balanced product team following modern engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy Java (17+) and Spring/Spring Boot (3.x) microservices on GCP.
  • Build scalable, resilient backend systems using GCP services such as Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Redis, etc.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and partner integrations using Java, Spring Boot, and APIGEE.
  • Create API documentation using Swagger or similar tools.
  • Implement various caching mechanisms (reverse proxy, cache-aside, read/write-through).
  • Conduct technical discovery: analyze current state, identify gaps, and propose future-state solutions.
  • Evaluate technical and commercial feasibility of proposed solutions.
  • Follow enterprise architecture standards and contribute to cloud-native design.
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, developers, and agile coaches.
  • Create, automate, and maintain unit and integration tests (TDD).
  • Mentor junior developers and promote continuous learning.
  • Understand user stories thoroughly and provide accurate estimations.
  • Implement performance monitoring, observability, and alerting using tools like Splunk and Dynatrace.
  • Work in Agile methodologies: stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint demos, and journey mapping.
  • Engage in extreme programming practices: Pair Programming, TDD, DevOps, CI/CD.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech/MCA).

  • Experience:

  • 7+ years developing enterprise-scale web applications and backend services.

  • 5+ years in Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Core, Spring Batch, Reactive Programming, Microservices.
  • 3+ years working with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure).
  • 2+ years architecting microservices using GCP features like Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Redis.

Preferred Experience

  • Implementing APIGEE endpoints using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Working with caching strategies: reverse proxy, cache-aside, read/write-through.
  • Code quality tools: SonarQube, Cycode, 42Crunch.
  • CI/CD deployments using GCP, Tekton, Terraform.
  • Enterprise monitoring and analytics tools (Splunk, Dynatrace).
  • Experience with Structured (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, DB2) and unstructured databases.
  • Exposure to SRE concepts in Java and GCP.
  • 4+ years in Agile Scrum environments.
  • Experience delivering complex, large-scale digital systems (transactional and non-transactional).
  • Working with global teams and multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to adapt to various audiences.
