Job Title – Lead Systems Analyst

The Purpose of This Role

As a Lead – System Analyst, you will focus on system analysis, working directly with both technical and business stakeholders to translate a vision and designs into sustainable business solutions. You will be responsible for the system design of complex software applications, ensuring they are built with quality, consistency to our standards, performance and responsive to the device accessing the application. You will also be responsible to play a dual role of System Analyst and Scrum master on the Digital applications and to manage a team towards delivery.

The Value You Deliver

This Lead – System Analyst will be expected to be a part of the Employee Digital team in India and would be responsible for working on the Employee Digital application that are used by Fidelity's workplace customers.  The System Analyst will work closely with the product owners, architects and other developers to design, build, test, and deliver the features that make up Fidelity's internet experience.

Responsibilities of the role includes

  • Play the role of the scrum master cum System Analyst  for the Employee Digital team in India

  • Assuming point person responsibilities for development of web-based user interface applications.

  • Responsible for systems analysis of business requirements for medium/large-scale web development projects spanning multiple Fidelity systems groups.

  • Assist in ramping up team, identifying tasks, estimating and planning work effort, tracking milestone completion, testing and all other project life cycle milestones. 

  • The analyst will also make sure systems requirements map to test cases and test execution.

  • To work collaboratively with product owners, business stake holders and other teams towards successful and quality delivery.

  • Foster communication and support management to monitor manage and report project status.

  • Exercise good judgment while resolving issues and escalating risk to the next level of management.

  • Contribute and motivate team towards vitality and innovations on business ideas.

The Digital Platforms development team is part of the Workplace Investing (WI) Technology group.  Our team is responsible for new and enhanced design and development of application areas across WI.  Our primary focus is Employee Digital via the web and mobile channels. 

The Expertise we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science or any other discipline

  • Prior experience in financial domain is an added advantage

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • ~6 years of experience in web technology  role

Shift timings: 11:00 am - 8:00pm
