About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations at the Kathua Plant. The role requires a strategic leader with deep experience in production planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution within the ice cream, dairy, or FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the complete supply chain function, ensuring seamless coordination between procurement, production, logistics, and distribution.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Oversee demand forecasting, production scheduling, and raw material planning to ensure timely availability of stock.
  • Manage warehouse operations, ensuring adherence to quality, hygiene, and cold chain standards.
  • Optimize logistics and distribution networks for both inbound and outbound operations.
  • Monitor key supply chain KPIs including inventory accuracy, lead times, and service level performance.
  • Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and distributors to maintain strong business relationships and ensure consistent supply performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and sustainability across the supply chain.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team to achieve operational excellence.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Business Administration (MBA preferred).
  • 1525 years of progressive experience in supply chain management within the Ice Cream, Dairy, or FMCG manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of cold chain logistics and distribution management.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale operations and multi-location networks.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP/SAP systems and data-driven decision-making.
