Third Part Risk Management analyst-TPRM

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Third Party Risk Management Professional to lead our Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive TPRM program that identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks associated with third-party vendors and service providers. This role will involve working closely with senior stakeholders, including business unit leaders, risk management, and compliance teams to ensure that third-party risks are properly managed and mitigated.
Key Responsibilities:
- TPRM Program Development: Develop and maintain a comprehensive TPRM program that aligns with the organization's risk management framework and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct complex risk assessments of third-party vendors and service providers to identify potential risks, including financial, operational, reputational, and compliance risks.
- Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to address identified risks, including negotiating contract terms, conducting due diligence, and implementing controls to minimize risk.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with business units to develop and maintain vendor management plans, including contract management, performance monitoring, and issue escalation.
- Compliance: Ensure that third-party vendors and service providers comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including data protection, anti-money laundering, and anti-bribery laws.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports to senior management and other stakeholders on TPRM activities, including risk assessments, mitigation plans, and vendor performance.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the TPRM program.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including business unit leaders, risk management, and compliance teams to ensure that third-party risks are properly managed and mitigated.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of TPRM professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure the team's success.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry standards, including OCC, FRB, and FFIEC guidelines, and ensure that the TPRM program is compliant with these requirements.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field. Advanced degree or certification (e.g., MBA, CRMP, CTPRP) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in third-party risk management, risk management, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Certifications: Certified Third-Party Risk Management Professional (CTPRMP) or Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP) certification is preferred.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of third-party risk management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations, including data protection, anti-money laundering, and anti-bribery laws.
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks and methodologies, including ISO 31000 and COSO.
Must Have:
- Experience with third-party risk management software and tools.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
- Experience with audit and compliance activities, including audit planning, execution, and reporting.
- Certifications, such as CISA, CISM, or CRISC
