About the Role:

Bastar Dairy Farm is seeking a proactive and experienced Purchase Manager to lead procurement activities, ensure timely sourcing of materials, manage vendor relationships, and maintain cost-effective purchasing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement of raw materials, packaging, equipment, and services
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships and contracts
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores and production teams
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and budget requirements
  • Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in purchasing/procurement (dairy/FMCG preferred)
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of ERP or procurement software is a plus
