As an experienced Instrument Supervisor at a well-established entity in Kuwait's Petrochemical Sector, your role will involve overseeing the Power Plant operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Supervising the installation, calibration, testing, and commissioning of instruments and control systems within the power plant facilities - Leading a team of technicians to ensure proper functioning of field instrumentation such as transmitters, control valves, PLCs, and DCS systems - Reviewing technical specifications, drawings, and documentation related to instrument systems - Troubleshooting instrumentation issues and conducting routine maintenance to enhance system efficiency and safety - Ensuring compliance with safety protocols, plant procedures, and international standards - Collaborating closely with the electrical, mechanical, and control departments for smooth execution of plant operations - Maintaining logs, reports, and documentation in accordance with project and client requirements Qualifications required for this position: - Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation Engineering or a related field - Minimum of 10 years of experience in Power Plants or Valve Manufacturing Contracts - Proficiency in handling industrial control systems, SCADA, DCS, PLC, and instrumentation protocols - Strong leadership, communication, and troubleshooting skills - Gulf or international experience would be advantageous The company offers a competitive salary based on experience, along with company-provided accommodation and transport, medical coverage, air tickets, and visa assistance. The position is on a contractual/temporary basis with a contract length of 24 months. The work schedule is during day shifts, and the work location is in person.
