Sales Manager – Quick Commerce & Retail
to lead this growth.
How We Started
Uravu Labs was founded in 2019 by NIT Calicut alumni who experienced water scarcity firsthand. Determined to create a sustainable solution, they built a renewable-energy-based technology that produces clean water from the air without electricity-heavy systems or harmful refrigerants. This innovation powers FromAir, bringing sustainable, premium hydration to consumers.
Role Overview
This is a high-impact field sales role where you will build and grow our presence in quick commerce platforms (Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart) and modern retail stores
. We need someone who communicates well, plans using logic and numbers, and understands consumer buying patterns. The right hire will grow into a future Sales Team Lead.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Planning & Pricing:
Prepare cost sheets, margins, and structured daily/weekly sales plans. - Acquire new accounts:
Onboard dark stores, modern retail outlets, and quick commerce nodes. - Pitch effectively:
Present FromAir's premium water and beverage range to category managers, store owners, and procurement teams. - Grow distribution:
Build and nurture relationships across quick commerce and retail partners. - Achieve targets:
Execute sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly sales goals. - Negotiate & close deals:
Finalize pricing, margins, and agreements for long-term partnerships. - Cross-team coordination:
Work closely with marketing, operations, and logistics to ensure smooth onboarding and timely deliveries. - Market intelligence:
Track competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer insights to identify opportunities.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG, beverages, quick commerce, or modern retail sales.
- Strong numerical skills (pricing, margins, % calculations).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in Kannada is mandatory; Hindi is preferred.
- Target-oriented, self-driven, and comfortable with daily field visits.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Willingness to travel and engage with new customers frequently.
