The CSG Professional Services Analytics team supports the Professional
Services business within the Customer Success Group (CSG). We are
seeking a talented Senior Data Analytics Analyst & Data Scientist for the
Sales Analytics team. You will uncover insights from complex data sets,
build compelling visualizations in Tableau, and apply data science
techniques to solve real business problems. You will contribute to our
efforts in transforming complex data into clear and actionable insights and
dashboards for our Professional Services sales team.
Responsibilities*

• Serve as a domain expert in product data science, guiding best practices and advancing data science methodologies and operations
• Champion evidence-based decision-making, making data and insights accessible and scalable for stakeholders at all levels
• Apply advanced data science techniques to analyze pre-defined KPIs by identifying what's working, what's not, and opportunities for improvement
• Develop a deep understanding of enterprise data and operational details of the business (e.g., key datasets, business drivers/KPIs)
• Build predictive analytics models to forecast trends and early warning signals in key business areas
• Assist in wrangling data sets using Salesforce, SQL, and Tableau to discover patterns, correlate findings, and measure the impact on the business and key metrics
• Partner with and consult Professional Services sellers and sales leadership to provide accurate data/information and make recommendations for how to run the business
• Use Tableau & SQL to create interactive and intuitive visualizations
• Automate manual reporting processes and improve data quality

*Basic Qualifications:*

• 4+ years of experience in data science, preferably in enterprise software
• 4+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, data analysis
• Basic understanding of data modeling and relational databases like Snowflake
• Experience deploying, monitoring, and maintaining data science products in cloud environments
• Good understanding of the data science project lifecycle and associated challenges at each stage of development
• Expertise in at least one programming language for data science (e.g., Python, R)
• Experience working with large-scale data technologies (e.g., Spark, Presto, Hive, Hadoop)
• Hands-on knowledge of SQL, Tableau, and Google Sheets/Excel
• Strong communication skills. Able to translate complex technical results into clear, actionable insights
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively across teams
• Ability to quickly grasp technological and business concepts

**Preferred Qualifications:****

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative field
• Background in professional services or SaaS industry
• Knowledge of Salesforce product, platform features, and capabilities
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
• Familiarity with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Sales/GTM knowledge
