Responsibilities:
  • Web Development:
  • Develop and maintain efficient front-end and back-end components of our web applications using PHP.
  • Ensure the scalability and performance of web applications for seamless user experiences.
  • API Design and Development:
  • Create and maintain APIs to support web functionalities and facilitate third-party integrations.
  • Database Management:
  • Work with both relational and non-relational databases to store, retrieve, and manipulate data effectively.
  • Code Optimization:
  • Optimize existing PHP codebase for enhanced performance and scalability.
  • Troubleshooting and Debugging:
  • Identify and resolve issues in PHP code to guarantee the smooth operation of our web applications.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and fellow developers to deliver cohesive and high-quality software solutions.
  • Documentation:
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for PHP-based software, ensuring clarity and accessibility.
  • Staying Updated:
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in PHP development.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in PHP development.
  • Proficiency in PHP and familiarity with popular frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React or Angular is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of database design and management, including experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
