Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned and detailoriented Senior Civil Engineer to lead industrial construction projects across greenfield and brownfield sites. This role involves full cycle project management from planning and execution to interior fitouts for industrial and corporate office spaces. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Pre Engineered Building (PEB) systems, cost estimation, resource planning, budget monitoring, contractor billing, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

Lead end-to-end civil execution for Greenfield and Brownfield industrial projects (PEB & RCC).

Ensure timely delivery within budget, quality, and safety parameters.

Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for new developments.

 Construction & Site Management

Oversee daily site operations and resource deployment (Manpower, Machinery, Materials).

Conduct site meetings with contractors, vendors, and consultants.

Manage manpower planning across project phases.

Technical & Engineering Oversight

Review and approve construction and shop drawings.

Supervise PEB erection and integration with civil works.

Ensure compliance with structural specs, safety codes, and engineering standards.

Quality Management & Controlling

Develop and implement quality assurance and control procedures across all project phases.

Conduct regular audits, inspections, and testing to ensure adherence to design and safety standards.

Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to track project health and identify deviations.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and corrective actions to enhance construction quality and efficiency.

Quality Management on Site

Implement site-specific quality control plans and checklists for each construction phase.

Conduct material testing and verification (e.g., concrete, steel, aggregates, PEB) as per IS codes and project specs.

Ensure proper workmanship through regular inspections and snag identification.

Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, test reports, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).

Coordinate with QA/QC teams, third-party labs, and consultants for quality validation and approvals.

Cost Management & Billing

Prepare and validate cost estimates and budget forecasts.

Maintain cost and inventory reports to minimize wastage.

Review and certify contractor bills based on work progress.

Approvals & Documentation

Manage documentation including EP, GP, RGP, NRGP, and gate entries.

Coordinate with clients, statutory bodies, and consultants for inspections and approvals.

Interiors & Fit-Outs

Lead execution of industrial and corporate office interiors.

Collaborate with architects, MEP consultants, and vendors for timely completion.

Required Skills & Competencies

Proven experience in industrial construction (Greenfield & Brownfield).

Strong knowledge of PEB, RCC, finishing works, and interiors.

Expertise in quality control, cost estimation, inventory control, and billing.

Familiarity with site protocols and documentation (EP, GP, RGP, etc.).

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple vendors.

Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and construction ERP tools.

Strong analytical skills for performance monitoring and process improvement.

Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
