Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata for the position of Assistant General Manager (AGM) – Quality Assurance. The AGM will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining all aspects of quality assurance practices to ensure compliance with global standards and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include leading quality investigations, managing audits, developing and implementing quality systems, ensuring compliance across facilities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. The role requires strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills to ensure product quality and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Quality Assurance principles, risk management, and compliance with global regulatory standards
  • Experience in conducting and managing audits, quality investigations, and root cause analysis
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical and healthcare manufacturing practices and quality systems
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with an ability to drive continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • A graduate or postgraduate degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related field is required
  • Experience in a senior quality assurance position in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) is a plus
