Commissioning Supervisor

Candidate must be willing to relocate to Kalinga Nagar, Odisha

Job Duration: 6 to 12 Months

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and conduct regular safety inspections.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of furnaces to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Supervise a team of technicians during the startup process, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly before handing over to production.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions to prevent downtime or accidents.
• Supervise furnace installation, pre-commissioning, start-up, and testing activities.
• Calibrate and adjust combustion and control systems.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize furnace operations during commissioning.
• Document and report commissioning progress to stakeholders.
• Provide training and technical guidance to the clients team.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5+ years in commissioning roles
• Strong knowledge of safety management, regulations, EHS (Environmental Health & Safety)
• Proven supervisory experience in a similar role with ability to lead a team effectively.
• Experience in Continuous Galvanizing Line (CGL) or Continuous Annealing Line (CAL) furnace commissioning is preferred
• Strong technical expertise in heating, combustion, and control systems.
• Proficiency with testing and calibration tools.
• Language: Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Strong communication, leadership, and team management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent or working knowledge in local language or Hindi is preferred
