Automation Supervisor

Candidate must be willing to relocate to Kalinga Nagar, Odisha

Job Duration: 6 to 12 Months

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct system testing, calibration, and troubleshooting during start-up.
• Optimize control loops for heating, combustion, and process stability.
• Monitor automation performance and resolve PLC/HMI issues in real time.
• Document commissioning progress, deviations, and corrective actions.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to the clients technical staff.
• Liaise with project, production, and technical office teams for smooth execution.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5+ years experience in industrial automation or large-scale commissioning
• Solid, hands-on experience in Siemens automation software (S7, TIA Portal).
• Prior commissioning experience in CGL or CAL furnaces (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of furnace processes (heating, combustion, control).
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Profibus, Profinet, Modbus).
• Strong problem-solving skills in automation/controls during commissioning.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Fluent or working knowledge in local language or Hindi is preffered
• Proficient in Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for supervising technicians.
