Job Title: Assistant Manager, Solar Ingot and wafer Production Integrated PV Manufacturing

Location: Ramayapatnam, Andhra Pradesh (Location near to Nellore, AP)

Position Overview:

The Assistant Manager of Solar Ingot and wafer Manufacturing Production will oversee daily operations, manage production schedules, and ensure high-quality output in Solar Ingot and wafer manufacturing. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, technical, and problem-solving skills, enabling efficient coordination between teams, process optimization, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Production Management:

  2. Supervise and coordinate daily production activities in the Solar Ingot and wafer Manufacturing process.

  3. Monitor and manage production schedules to meet output targets and delivery deadlines.

  4. Ensure smooth workflow and resource allocation to maximize efficiency.

  5. Team Supervision and Development:

  6. Lead and mentor production team members, including technicians and operators.

  7. Provide training and skill development opportunities to team members.

  8. Foster a culture of collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.

  9. Process Optimization:

  10. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste.

  11. Work closely with the R&D and engineering teams to integrate new technologies and methodologies.

  12. Troubleshoot production issues and develop corrective actions to minimize downtime.

  13. Quality Assurance:

  14. Ensure compliance with quality standards and manufacturing protocols.

  15. Collaborate with quality control teams to identify and resolve defects or inconsistencies in Ingot and wafer production.

  16. Maintain detailed records of production processes and outcomes.

  17. Safety and Compliance:

  18. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  19. Promote a safe working environment and address potential hazards promptly.

  20. Reporting and Analysis:

  21. Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  22. Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.
  23. Monitor KPIs related to production efficiency, quality, and safety.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial preferred) or related field.

  • Experience:
  • 6+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Prior experience in Solar Ingot and wafer manufacturing is a strong advantage.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with Ingot and wafer production processes, equipment, and materials.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using production planning software and data analysis tools.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Achievement of production targets and deadlines.
  • Reduction in manufacturing defects and waste.
  • Improvement in production efficiency and team productivity.
  • Compliance with safety and quality standards.

Work Environment:

The role may involve working in a cleanroom or manufacturing environment, requiring adherence to strict safety and cleanliness protocols. Flexibility to work in shifts or extended hours may be required.
