Key Responsibilities of the Junior Accounts Executive:

Accounting & Operations

  • Manage vendor bills and ensure timely reconciliation.
  • Maintain accurate records for bank reconciliations and petty cash.
  • Handle employee reimbursements, ensuring validation of claims and approval workflows.
  • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), perform reconciliations, and ensure timely submission.
  • Conduct regular payment follow-up reminders to ensure timely collections.
  • Coordinate with vendors for bill verification, payment scheduling, and issue resolution.
  • Track and manage license renewals for products such as Trend Micro, Microsoft 365, and Firewalls, ensuring uninterrupted services.
  • Initiate and maintain renewal Purchase Orders (POs), coordinating with internal accounts teams for timely processing and invoicing.
  • Maintain updated statements of accounts receivable and payable.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of financial, statutory (PF, ESI, PT, LWF), and license documents.
  • Draft NDA & MSA Documentation and vendor registration process.
  • Assist in implementing process improvements and maintaining internal financial controls.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting, preferably with Zoho Books, payroll, and statutory compliance exposure.
  • Good working knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and Form 16.
  • Experience in payment follow-ups, PO tracking, and license renewal coordination.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and reconciliation tasks.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling financial data.
