Job Summary:

The Senior Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing PEB projects, excellent technical knowledge, and strong leadership skills to coordinate teams on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage all site activities related to PEB construction including erection, fabrication, and installation of steel structures.
  • Ensure adherence to design drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor site progress, prepare daily/weekly reports, and update project status.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Resolve technical issues and provide guidance to junior engineers and site workers.
  • Manage procurement and material handling on-site, ensuring proper usage and minimal wastage.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders for timely approvals and issue resolutions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including site diaries, work records, and material reports.
  • Ensure timely completion of projects within budget and quality benchmarks.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field.
  • 3-4 years of experience as a Site Engineer in the PEB or steel structures industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Pre-Engineered Building systems and steel construction practices.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting structural drawings and blueprints.
  • Sound understanding of construction safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with project management software and MS Office applications.
