Role & responsibilities

  • Handling legal matters including Civil, Criminal, Arbitration, Consumer etc.
  • Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, service contracts, consultancy contracts etc.
  • Drafting and filing police complaints, FIRs, legal notices, replies, and other formal communications with authorities.
  • Represent the organization before courts, tribunals, regulatory bodies, Police, arbitration panels, forums and other Authorities .
  • Liaise with external legal counsels, empanelled advocates, consultants, and regulatory authorities for effective handling of cases.
  • Coordinate with government departments, police, and other authorities for company-related matters.
  • Monitor and track litigation progress, ensuring timely follow-ups and closure.
  • Handling and Monitoring of legal matters and regular updates on the same.
  • Advise on dispute resolution strategies and taking action in disciplinary matters / issues, investigations & enquiries.
  • Work in close coordination with internal teams/departments/centres for relevant purposes and to align legal strategies with business objectives.
  • Ensure timely drafting, filing and other actions wherever required in the legal matters.
  • Provide legal opinion and advisory to management as and when required.
  • Travel to different locations as required for legal matters.

  • Excellent command over spoken and written English.
  • Proactive, energetic, and dynamic with a strong solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong team player with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Should have excellent drafting skills.
  • Calm and effective under pressure, with the ability to handle complex legal challenges.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • LLB from a recognized institution with relevant / around years of experience in managing diverse legal operations across multiple domains.
  • Experience of working as Head of Legal in the corporate sector shall be preferred.
