Job Description: Business Analyst – Epik (Bangalore)

Full-time | Bangalore | In-office

Epik is building India's fastest home-demo commerce engine — from robovacs to smartphones to smart homes.

As we scale to 1,000+ demos/day, we need a Business Analyst who can translate data into decisions, build internal intelligence, and power every team with insights.

Role Overview

You will be the analytical backbone for Marketing, Ops, Product, and Category teams.

Your work will directly influence demo volumes, conversions, routing efficiency, payouts, and monthly revenue.

Key Responsibilities1. Data & Reporting

  • Build dashboards for:
  • Demo funnel (lead → CS connect → CD assigned → completed demos → orders)
  • Weekly and daily revenue, AOV, CPD, CPL
  • Category performance (Cleaning, Kitchen, Large Appliances, Smart Home)
  • Maintain Core KPIs for founders and leadership.

2. Funnel Intelligence

  • Analyse lead sources across Meta, Google, CTWA, Instant Forms, Referrals, Influencers.
  • Identify drop-offs and recommend fixes to CS, CD, and Marketing teams.
  • Build cohort-level understanding: city zones, TG behaviour, category preference, ideal demo timings.

3. Routing & Ops Support

  • Work with product/tech to strengthen:
  • Demo routing logic
  • Load balancing across CD teams
  • Daily target setting (demos/day, revenue/day)
  • Analyse cancellations, reschedules, and repeat demo behaviour.

4. Business Planning

  • Create weekly and monthly business forecasts.
  • Support category managers with pricing, margins, and partner performance insights.
  • Work with leadership on contribution margin and unit economics.

5. Tools & Systems

  • Deep working understanding of:
  • GA4
  • Power BI / Data Studio
  • HubSpot (or CRM experience)
  • Excel (advanced mandatory)
  • Shopify analytics
  • Ability to query data and run simple scripts (SQL is a bonus).

What Success Looks Like in 90 Days

  • A live central dashboard powering daily reviews.
  • 15–20 percent improvement in demo efficiency (less wastage, smarter allocations).
  • Predictive understanding of what categories drive revenue each day.
  • Clear recommendations on scaling Meta/Google spends based on cohorts.
  • Strong intelligence loop between CS → CD → Category → Marketing.

  • 1–3 years of experience in analytics, consulting, e-commerce, ops, or performance marketing.
  • Strong with numbers, faster with execution, and loves solving problems in real time.
  • Comfortable in a high-speed startup where every day is Day 1.
  • Someone who thinks in dashboards, asks the right questions, and doesn't wait to be told what to analyse.
