Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Business Development Manager (BDM) specializing in Modular Furniture for a full-time position at our headquarters in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of experience in business development, specifically in B2B sales related to modular furniture, and will be responsible for driving growth and generating new leads within the industry.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must have at least 7 to 10 years of experience in business development within the modular furniture industry.
- Proven B2B sales expertise, specifically in the modular furniture sector (Mandatory skill).
- In-depth product knowledge about modular furniture, including features, benefits, and market trends (Mandatory skill).
- Strong skills in lead generation, with a track record of successfully identifying and securing new business opportunities (Mandatory skill).
- Proficiency in using Salesforce CRM for managing customer interactions and maintaining sales pipelines.
- Adept at market analysis with the ability to evaluate competitors and develop strategic sales plans accordingly.
- Experience in contract negotiation to ensure mutually beneficial agreements and partnerships.
- Strong customer relationship management abilities to build and sustain lasting client partnerships.
- Excellent project management skills to drive projects from conception through to completion, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives and expand market presence.
- Identify potential clients and business opportunities in the modular furniture sector and initiate contact to introduce our products and services.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead acquisition to contract negotiation and closing deals.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and existing clients to drive repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for new product development or market expansion.
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure customer needs and market demands are met.
- Prepare regular reports and forecasts to monitor sales progress and inform strategic decision-making.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to junior team members, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
