About the Role

  • Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations.
  • Counsel patients and their families on hearing loss, treatment options, and hearing aid use.
  • Fit, program, and dispense hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
  • Perform hearing aid repairs and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
  • Adhere to all ethical and professional standards, including those set by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
  • Assist in community outreach programs and hearing screenings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Audiology from a recognized university.
  • Valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
  • Optional: 1 year of experience
  • Knowledge of current audiological practices and technologies.
  • Strong clinical skills in diagnostic audiology, hearing aid fitting and must be commitment to providing patient-centered care
  • Should have Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Fluent in Telugu and English.

Must meet the requirements and norms as stipulated by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) for the position of Grade II Audiologist.
