Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering food and grocery items to customers in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate various delivery routes while ensuring the safe handling of products.

Duties

  • Deliver food and grocery items to customers' locations promptly and courteously.
  • Ensure all deliveries are accurate and meet quality standards.
  • Handle food items with care, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Operate delivery vehicles safely and responsibly, following all traffic laws.
  • Maintain communication with the dispatch team regarding delivery status and any issues encountered.
  • Assist with loading and unloading products from the vehicle as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
  • Perform basic math calculations for order confirmations and receipts as required.

Experience

  • Previous experience in the food industry or grocery store environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices is essential.
  • Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with customers.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions and order processing are required.
  • Experience in bussing or kitchen roles is beneficial but not mandatory.
