Job Description: 1) Managing assigned clients independently through individual counselling sessions 2) Conducting group sessions 3) Participating in family meetings once a month. 4) Coordinating with family members to update about progress of client & sending progress report every 15 days 5) Identify psychological, emotional or behavioural issues 6) Diagnose psychological, emotional or behavioural disorders 7) Develop and implement treatment plans and therapeutic processes 8) Monitor client progress through regular meetings or sessions 9) Offer therapy and treatments for issues relating to a range of mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, OCD, BPAD, substance use disorder, PTSD, somatic disorders, eating disorders, developmental disorders, personality disorders and neurological disorders. 10) Observes patients in various situations; selects, administers, and interprets intelligence, personality, or other psychological tests to diagnose disorders and formulate plans of treatment, and provides consultation with regard to test results. 11) Help clients define goals and plan action to achieve personal, social, educational and vocational development and adjustment. 12) Utilizing various psychological techniques selects appropriate treatment approach and plans frequency intensity and duration of individual group and family therapies. 13) Assesses and communicates patient progress and modifies treatment programs accordingly 14) Provide clinical supervision to less experienced psychologists and members of the wider multidisciplinary team 15) Documents therapy in accordance with policies and procedures regarding medical records implements and adheres to policies which ensure patient confidentiality. 16) Provides crisis intervention in situations requiring immediate psychological treatment. 17) May help students serving psychological internships with the organisation 18) Online therapy and session experience is preferred but not mandatory 19) Evaluating new clients coming for admission as per availability of time. 20) Clarifying doubts of potential clients referred by marketing team through telephonic talk 21) Working closely with Psychiatrists to address medical issues faced by clients 22) Maintaining client&rsquo s confidentiality & maintaining all documentation as needed. 23) Preparing discharge summary & conducting sessions with family at time of discharge 24) Conducting online follow up sessions of discharged clients as per Organization protocols
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required 1) Knowledge of psychological theory and practice 2) RCI certification requirements and standards. 3) Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques. 4) Ability to observe, assesses, and record symptoms, reactions, and progress. 5) Ability to effectively communicate medical information, test results, diagnoses and/or proposed treatment in a manner easily understood by the client. 6) Psychological/developmental evaluation skills. 7) Ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information. 8) Ability to assess mental status in clients and to develop individual treatment goals and plans. 9) Knowledge of psychological test administration, scoring, and interpretation. 10) Ability to maintain emotional stability to cope with human suffering, emergencies, and other stresses. 11) Skill in preparing and maintaining patient records. 12) A candidate with prior experience in dealing with substance use disorders will be preferred.
