About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Java Lead to join our engineering team. In this role, you will lead a team of Java developers in designing, developing, and delivering high-performance, scalable, and secure enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Java developers through the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Design & Development: Architect, design, and implement complex, scalable, and high-availability backend systems using Java and related technologies.
  • Code Quality: Review, optimize, and maintain clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, business analysts, QA teams, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Architecture & Integration: Define system architecture, design patterns, and integration strategies for microservices, APIs, and third-party systems.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements for scalability and reliability.

Preferred:

  • Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
  • Exposure to front-end technologies (Angular, React) for full-stack understanding.
  • Experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
