Job Summary
This position provides input, support, and performs full systems life cycle management activities (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.). He/She participates in component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Applications Development (AD) initiatives to meet business requirements. This position provides input to applications development project plans and integrations. He/She collaborates with teams and supports emerging technologies to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives. This position provides knowledge and support for applications development, integration, and maintenance. He/She provides input to department and project teams on decisions supporting projects.

Responsibilities

• Senior App Developer with 5+ years' experience in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, Visual Studio

Experience with Angular

Experience with GIT

Experience with CI/CD pipelines

Able to create relevant documentation for the application

Perform Design Reviews and Code Reviews

Provide knowledge transfer to UPS team

Establish UPS best practices in design/coding/testing

Provide best practices for performance tuning

Knowledge of UI/UX, Web and single page application development

Provide best practices for distributed logging and aggregating them to have appropriate instrumentation

Experience working with CI/CD pipelines Experience with QA / Automation

Experience with SCRUM Agile methodologies and TFS is highly recommended

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field - Preferred
• Good knowledge in Java, J2EE technologies
• Knowledge in any of the cloud technologies (GCP/AWS/Azure)
• Knowledge in Spring MVC, Boot
• Experinece working in OpenShift
