Role Overview:

The Video Content Marketing Specialist will be responsible for driving the creation, execution, and optimization of high-quality video content across YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms. The role requires strong storytelling capability, understanding of platform-specific algorithms, and hands-on experience in end-to-end video production. The candidate will collaborate with design, medical, and product teams to ensure cohesive and impactful video narratives that strengthen brand visibility and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute platform-specific video content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns.
  • Ideate and script engaging, high-retention video concepts tailored for YouTube, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, and short-format platforms.
  • Stay updated with content trends, competitor activity, and platform shifts to refine strategy.

Video Production & Execution

  • Manage end-to-end production including pre-production planning, shoot coordination, editing workflows, and quality checks.
  • Work closely with internal design/video editors and external production partners to ensure timely and high-quality output.
  • Ensure brand guidelines, accuracy, and creative consistency across all video touchpoints.

Content Optimization & Growth

  • Optimize videos using strong thumbnails, titles, tags, metadata, and SEO best practices to maximize organic reach.
  • Track platform analytics including watch time, retention, CTR, and engagement to generate insights.
  • Recommend data-driven improvements to enhance future content performance.

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with medical experts to convert complex health-related topics into simplified, engaging video content.
  • Partner with product, design, and marketing teams to deliver cohesive campaign narratives.
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and messaging consistency across all healthcare-related content.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong storytelling and scriptwriting skills for long-form and short-form videos.
  • Good understanding of platform algorithms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn) and trending formats.
  • Hands-on experience with production workflows, editing coordination, and content optimization.
  • Creativity blended with strong analytical and critical thinking.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines.
