About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Planning and Design Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in residential projects, preferably in high-rise Mivan construction, and will be capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously. The candidate should have excellent communication skills and a strong educational background from NICMAR or SPA (School of Planning and Architecture).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the planning and design phases of residential construction projects, focusing on high-rise buildings using Mivan formwork technology.
  • Oversee 3-4 projects simultaneously ensuring timelines, quality standards, and client expectations are met.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, planners, engineers, and contractors to develop and refine project designs.
  • Monitor project progress and update project schedules accordingly to ensure timely delivery.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to resolve any design or planning issues promptly.
  • Prepare and present reports, presentations, and project documentation to senior management and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and company standards.
  • Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related fields from NICMAR or SPA (School of Planning and Architecture).
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in residential projects, especially high-rise Mivan construction projects.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under pressure.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Primavera P6 for project scheduling and control.

  • Skilled in Microsoft Project (MSP) for planning and monitoring project timelines.
  • Good working knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit or similar design software to coordinate with design teams.
  • Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools is an advantage.

  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in handling Mivan formwork systems in high-rise residential projects.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Bangalore and surrounding areas.
  • Experience in cost estimation and resource planning is a plus.
  • Exposure to quality management systems (QMS) and safety standards in construction.
