Supervisor / Technician in a Water and Wastewater Treatment Company (STP, ETP, RO, UF, ZLD projects):

1. Plant Operation & Monitoring

  • Operate and monitor water and wastewater treatment plants on a daily basis.
  • Check and maintain flow rates, pressure, and levels in tanks, pumps, and pipelines.
  • Monitor chemical dosing, filtration, and aeration systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Record operational data such as pH, BOD, COD, TSS, conductivity, and flow readings.

2. Equipment Maintenance

  • Perform routine inspections of mechanical and electrical equipment including pumps, blowers, motors, valves, and instrumentation.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance as per the schedule and maintain maintenance logs.
  • Report breakdowns, troubleshoot minor issues, and assist in repairs with the technical team.
  • Ensure proper lubrication, cleaning, and calibration of equipment.

3. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure operations comply with environmental regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintain proper use of PPE and safety procedures on-site.
  • Handle chemicals safely and ensure correct storage and handling procedures.
  • Assist in preparing safety reports and incident documentation if required.

4. Team Coordination

  • Supervise junior operators and helpers on-site.
  • Allocate daily work schedules and monitor performance.
  • Report operational and maintenance issues to the Project Engineer or Manager.
  • Provide guidance to new team members on standard operating procedures (SOPs).

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain operational logs, chemical consumption records, and maintenance records.
  • Assist in preparing daily/weekly reports for project management.
  • Support the team in compiling data for compliance reporting to regulatory authorities.

6. Troubleshooting & Support

  • Identify and report any deviations in plant performance.
  • Assist engineers during commissioning, testing, and start-up of new equipment.
  • Implement corrective actions under guidance to restore plant efficiency.

Educational & Skill Requirements

  • Diploma / ITI in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Environmental Engineering.
  • 1–5 years of experience in operating water or wastewater treatment plants.
  • Knowledge of STP, ETP, RO, UF, and ZLD operations is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of pumps, motors, blowers, and chemical dosing systems.
  • Good communication, record-keeping, and team management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10, ₹36,440.13 per month
