Job Summary:

The Purchase Head will lead the entire procurement function for Crown Veterinary Services Pvt. Ltd., ensuring timely sourcing of veterinary medicines, consumables, clinic equipment, and other essential supplies. The role demands strong vendor management, cost control, and coordination with multiple internal departments to meet operational requirements across all clinic locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage end-to-end purchasing processes for all clinic requirements.
  • Identify reliable vendors and maintain long-term, performance-driven supplier relationships.
  • Ensure timely procurement of veterinary medicines, surgical items, medical equipment, consumables, and office supplies.
  • Review purchase requisitions, issue purchase orders (POs), and follow up for on-time delivery.
  • Maintain optimum inventory levels across all locations in coordination with clinic managers and the store team.
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers for cost efficiency.
  • Monitor market trends to anticipate supply risks, price fluctuations, and new product availability.
  • Ensure all purchases comply with internal policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with finance for invoice clearance, vendor payments, and audit support.
  • Regularly evaluate vendor performance in terms of pricing, quality, and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate procurement documentation and MIS reports.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 6–10 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in healthcare, veterinary, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Strong knowledge of vendor management and negotiation strategies.
  • Experience in working with ERP tools or procurement software (Tally, Zoho, SAP, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹90, ₹125,000.00 per month
