Sr Associate IS Bus Sys Analyst – Workday Time & Attendance

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with System Architects and Product Managers to manage Workday Time & Attendance configuration and analysis activities.
• Capture business needs and translate them into Workday Time Tracking and Absence configuration requirements.
• Define and maintain eligibility rules, time entry validations, and absence accrual logic in line with business and compliance standards.
• Partner with stakeholders to define the scope and value of new configurations or process improvements.
• Prioritize configuration deliverables and ensure accurate reflection in the Product and Release Backlogs.
• Break down Workday Epics into Features and User Stories with clear acceptance criteria and Definition of Done for configuration tasks.
• Collaborate with UX and HR operations teams to align user experience, workflows, and system logic for time tracking and absence processes.
• Validate configurations throughout testing cycles, proactively identifying system gaps or logic issues.
• Conduct and deliver Workday configuration demonstrations for stakeholders and end users.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all configurations, workflows, and change logs for audit readiness.

Required Skills & Experience

• Min 7+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience with strong focus on Time Tracking and Absence Management modules.
• Deep understanding of accruals, time entry codes, calculation rules, time-off eligibility, and absence plan setup.
• Proven ability to configure and optimize business process workflows for time entry, approvals, and absence events.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements related to working hours, leave types, and time tracking policies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex business rules into Workday logic.
• Experience with end-to-end Workday implementation or enhancement projects.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
• Workday Time Tracking and/or Absence certification highly preferred.
• Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting multi-country or regional time tracking setups.
• Understanding of integration touchpoints between Time Tracking, Payroll, and HCM modules.
• Ability to analyze system performance and recommend configuration-level optimizations.

Estimated Pay Range:

Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
