Specialist IS Bus Sys Analyst, Manufacturing Data & Analytics
What you will do:
Let's do this. Let's change the world. This vital role leverages domain and business process expertise to detail product requirements as epics and user stories, along with supporting artifacts like business process maps, use cases, and test plans for the software development teams. This role involves working closely with developers, Product Owners and other business analysts to ensure that the technical requirements for upcoming development are thoroughly elaborated. This enables the delivery team to estimate, plan, and commit to delivery with high confidence and identify test cases and scenarios to ensure the quality and our applications.
Collaborate with Business and technical team to maintain an efficient and consistent process, ensuring quality deliverables from the team.
Capture the voice of the customer to define business processes and product needs
Work closely with multi-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to deliver high-quality software on time.
Ensure non-functional requirements are included and prioritized in the Product and Release Backlogs
Facilitate the breakdown of Epics into Features and Sprint-Sized User Stories and participate in backlog reviews with the development team
Clearly express features in User Stories/requirements so all team members and partners understand how they fit into the product backlog
Work closely with development and UX to align technical requirements, scenarios, and business process maps with User Experience designs
Stay focused on software development to ensure it meets requirements, providing proactive feedback to partners
Develop and execute effective product demonstrations for internal and external partners
Maintain accurate documentation of business requirements, users stories, processes, and changes
Perform manual and automated testing of software applications, including functional, regression, and performance testing
Set clear expectations for maintaining high standards of code quality, implementing code reviews, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
Document and report defects and issues identified during testing, and work with development teams to resolve them.
Validate that test scenarios meet feature acceptance criteria and customer expectations.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements.
Adapt to a fast-paced environment and learn new tools and methods quickly.
Innovate, explore, and implement new tools and technologies to enhance efficient user experience design.
Proactively identify and implement opportunities to automate tasks and develop reusable frameworks.
Work in an Agile and Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, product owners, and Scrum Masters to deliver incremental value.
Use JIRA, Confluence, and Agile DevOps tools to manage sprints, backlogs, and user stories.
Support continuous improvement, test automation, and DevOps practices in the user experience design lifecycle.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with product teams and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Basic Qualifications:
Any degree and 5 to 9 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience
Must-Have Skills
Experience in writing requirements for development of modern technology
Has experience with writing user requirements and acceptance criteria
Experience in managing product features for PI planning and developing product roadmaps and user journeys
Testing and validating user stories delivered are corresponding to business expectations.
Understanding of cloud computing principles, particularly within the AWS ecosystem.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with popular front-end frameworks like React (preferred) or Angular, is required to build interactive and responsive web applications
Understanding of Python/PySpark development, Fast API, Databricks, DevOps Tools, CI/CD, Data Ingestion.
Understanding of data engineering concepts, ETL processes, and data architecture principles.
Understanding or software engineering best practices, including version control (Git, Subversion, etc.), CI/CD (Jenkins, Maven, etc.), automated unit testing, and DevOps
Ability to quickly learn, adapt, and apply new technologies.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Agile delivery practices, and DevOps practices.
Good-to-Have Skills
Able to communicate technical or complex subject matters in business terms.
Experience with AI assisted code development using tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code.
Experience in biotechnology or pharma industry.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)
Education and Professional Certifications
AWS Certified Cloud, Data Engineer, Developer or Solutions Architect preferred
Databricks Certificate preferred
Scaled Agile SAFe certification preferred
