Job Description – Finance & MIS Analyst

Position: Finance & MIS Analyst Location: Thane Reporting To: MIS Head

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Hands-on in developing Monthly Financials, KPI Dashboards, and Performance Reports for management review.

  • Prepare Investment Analysis, ROI Assessments, Scenario Planning, and Financial Models to support business decisions.

  • Conduct cost tracking, variance, and trend analysis across multiple business segments and cost centers.

  • Assist in preparing channel-wise P&Ls and consolidating inputs for Group-level P&L.

  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in all financial and MIS reporting formats.

  • Support validation of production cost inputs used in P&L and margin analysis.

  • Participate in monthly financial review and planning cycles, providing insights on deviations and performance drivers.

  • Support budgeting and forecasting by coordinating various business functions.

  • Identify cost optimization and efficiency improvement opportunities through data-driven analysis.

  • Perform ad-hoc financial and business analysis as requested by management, including profitability, pricing, or expense deep-dives.

Expense & Cost Control

  • Track and analyze expenses reported by Business teams, ensuring alignment with Accounts data.

  • Coordinate with Business teams for timely submission and clarification of expense details.

  • Extract and validate expense and ledger data directly from Tally ERP for review and reconciliation.

  • Assist in monitoring budget utilization and highlight significant deviations to management.

  • Support internal audit checks, reconciliations, and expense validation processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or Business Analytics.

  • 2-4 years of experience in MIS, Finance, or Accounts.

  • Extract and validate expense and ledger data directly from Tally ERP / SAP for review and reconciliation.

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and analysis.

  • Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, expenses, budgets).

  • Good coordination, follow-up, and communication skills.

  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a structured finance & MIS setup.

Skills Required:

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working with numbers.

  • Hands-on with SAP, Tally ERP, Excel, Power Query for data handling.

  • Strong interest in Finance & MIS with the ability to adapt in a growing organization.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹700, ₹800,000.00 per year
