Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented
Senior Accountant
with over 15 years of expertise in managing end-to-end accounting operations. The ideal candidate must be proficient in
GST filings, TDS compliance, ESI & PF regulations
, and skilled in
Tally ERP
. This role requires strong analytical skills, thorough knowledge of Indian tax laws, and the ability to handle statutory audits and financial reporting independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting transactions using
    Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime
    .
  • Prepare and file
    GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns)
    and handle GST reconciliation and assessments.
  • Handle
    TDS deduction, return filing (Form 24Q, 26Q)
    and generate TDS certificates (Form 16/16A).
  • Manage
    ESI & PF registrations, challan generation, monthly filings
    , and ensure timely compliance.
  • Finalization of accounts, preparation of
    Profit & Loss accounts, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements
    .
  • Coordinate with statutory auditors for audits, tax assessments, and compliance.
  • Reconcile bank statements, vendor and customer ledgers.
  • Maintain accurate books of accounts and documentation as per statutory requirements.
  • Monitor receivables/payables and assist in budgeting & forecasting activities.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com) or equivalent.
  • 15+ years of experience
    in accounting, tax compliance, and statutory filings.
  • Proficiency in
    Tally ERP (Tally 9 / Tally Prime)
    is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of
    GST, TDS, ESI, PF
    and related compliance.
  • Experience in handling
    internal and statutory audits
    .
  • Good understanding of Indian accounting standards and tax laws.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Tally or Taxation is a plus.
  • Experience in [industry-specific software or ERP, if any].
