We are looking for a talented Backend Engineer proficient in Python and to design, develop, and maintain robust backend services that power our applications. You will work closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to build scalable APIs, improve system performance, and ensure the reliability of our platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and
  • Build scalable, high-performance server-side applications.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Implement security and data protection measures.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure software quality.
  • Design and manage database schemas and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a backend developer using Python and
  • Strong proficiency in Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Experience with and frameworks like
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
  • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
