We are seeking a
seasoned Backend Engineer
to work on a
contractual assignment
involving high-scale backend systems and API-driven architectures. The role calls for an expert in
,
TypeScript

MongoDB**
who can design, develop, and optimize complex backend solutions while ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.

Core Responsibilities

  • Architect, code, and maintain backend services and APIs using and TypeScript.
  • Build efficient MongoDB data models, ensuring data consistency and performance optimization.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Frontend, DevOps, QA, Product) to deliver robust and scalable backend modules.
  • Write modular, testable, and reusable code following industry best practices.
  • Diagnose production issues, optimize system performance, and ensure application uptime.
  • Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural improvements, and help define backend development standards.

Technical Expertise Required

  • Minimum 8 years of professional backend development experience.
  • Deep proficiency in , TypeScript, and MongoDB.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD workflows, and agile development practices.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with NestJS, , or other frameworks.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.
  • Understanding of message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) or GraphQL APIs.
  • Prior work in distributed systems, high-volume transaction environments, or performance tuning.
