Position Overview

We are seeking a
Production Planning Manager
with 8–10 years of experience in garment manufacturing/export houses. The ideal candidate will be responsible for
strategic production planning, capacity management, and workflow optimization
to ensure timely order execution and delivery. This role requires strong analytical skills, coordination across departments, and the ability to balance buyer commitments with factory efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor
  production schedules
  , ensuring timely execution of export orders.
• Analyze order bookings, assess
  capacity availability
  , and allocate production lines effectively.
• Coordinate with
  merchandising, sourcing, and production teams
  to align raw materials, trims, and fabrics with production timelines.
• Monitor
  WIP (Work-in-Progress)
  at all stages to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure
  on-time shipment
  through proactive planning and problem-solving.
• Work closely with quality and compliance teams to meet buyer standards and audits.
• Drive productivity improvements through
  lean manufacturing practices
  and process optimization.
• Prepare regular
  MIS reports
  on production status, capacity utilization, and delivery performance for management review.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate/Post-Graduate in
  Textile Technology, Apparel Production, or Industrial Engineering
  .
• 8–10 years of experience in
  production planning, control, or operations
  in an export-oriented garment manufacturing unit.
• Strong understanding of
  garment manufacturing processes
  (cutting, sewing, finishing, packing).
• Proficiency in
  Excel/ERP systems
  and production planning software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and
  problem-solving skills
  .
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
• Knowledge of
  lean manufacturing, T&A (Time & Action) planning
  , and international buyer compliance standards.
