Role Overview:

We are looking for a qualified Fire Officer to oversee fire safety operations in hospital and healthcare facilities. The candidate will be responsible for fire prevention, emergency response, safety audits, and ensuring compliance with statutory norms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily inspection of fire safety systems (Fire Alarm, Sprinklers, Hydrants, Fire Pumps, Smoke Detectors, Extinguishers).
  • Ensure all fire safety equipment is functional and maintained as per standards.
  • Handle emergency situations, fire calls, and evacuation procedures in hospital areas.
  • Conduct fire drills, safety training & awareness programs for staff.
  • Maintain records of fire system checklists, maintenance logs, and incident reports.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance, Security, and Facility Management teams for fire safety compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to NBC, NFPA, and local fire authority norms.
  • Supervise fire safety personnel and monitor fire pump rooms and control panels.
  • Support hospital emergency services and ensure safe patient movement during incidents.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma / Certificate in Fire & Safety, Fire Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  • 2–10 years of experience in fire safety operations (hospital experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of fire protection systems and emergency response.
  • Good communication and team coordination abilities.
  • Ability to work in shifts and handle high-pressure situations.
