The Chief Fire Officer is responsible for overseeing fire safety, prevention, and emergency response systems for a real estate organization or residential society.

This role ensures compliance with local fire safety regulations, develops and implements fire safety protocols, and leads training and emergency response efforts to protect residents, employees, and properties.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Fire Safety Compliance**: Ensure all properties comply with local fire safety codes, regulations, and standards (e.g., National Building Code, local fire department guidelines).Conduct regular fire safety audits and risk assessments of buildings, common areas, and infrastructure. Liaise with local fire authorities for inspections, permits, and certifications.

Fire Prevention and Systems Management: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and testing of fire safety systems, including alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, hydrants, and smoke detectors.

Develop and update fire prevention plans, evacuation routes, and safety signage.

Monitor and address potential fire hazards, such as electrical systems, gas lines, or flammable materials.

**Emergency Preparedness and Response**:
Develop and implement emergency response plans for fire incidents, including evacuation drills and procedures. Lead and coordinate fire response teams during emergencies, ensuring swift and effective action.

Act as the primary point of contact for fire-related incidents, coordinating with fire departments and other emergency services.

**Training and Awareness**:
Conduct regular fire safety training for residents, staff, and security personnel, covering fire extinguisher use, evacuation procedures, and hazard awareness. Organize fire drills and workshops to promote a culture of safety within the organization or society. Educate residents and employees on fire prevention best practices.

**Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain records of fire safety inspections, equipment maintenance, and training sessions. Prepare and submit reports on fire safety compliance and incidents to management or society board. Recommend upgrades or improvements to fire safety infrastructure based on audits and incidents.

**Collaboration and Leadership**: Work closely with facility managers, security teams, and maintenance staff to integrate fire safety into daily operations. Advise real estate developers or society management on fire safety requirements for new projects or renovations. Lead a team of fire safety personnel (if applicable), ensuring proper training and performance.

**Qualifications and Skills**: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fire Safety Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., NFPA, CFPS, or local fire safety certifications) are preferred.

**Experience**: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in fire safety management, preferably in real estate, residential societies, or facility management.

**Technical Skills**: Knowledge of fire safety systems, building codes, and emergency response protocols. Familiarity with fire suppression and detection technologies.

**Soft Skills**: Strong leadership, communication, and training skills. Ability to remain calm and decisive in emergencies.

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
