Key roles & responsibilities:

  • Design and oversee credit policies and programs for retail loan products sourced under direct/ partnerships model (MSME, housing, vehicle, etc.).
  • Ensure alignment of NBFC partners credit frameworks with NKFLs credit standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Evaluate co-lending proposals, including partner onboarding, product structuring, and credit workflows.
  • Lead joint development of credit assessment models with partners, including scorecards, credit rules, and exception handling processes.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, delinquency trends, and risk metrics across all co-lending arrangements.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (risk, legal, compliance, operations) to maintain strong governance and oversight on co-lending credit processes.
  • Support partner relationship teams in strategic discussions involving credit alignment, product expansion, and credit policy optimization.
  • Building, maintaining and reporting of retail credit pooling models and computing PD, LGD and EAD for different pool types
  • Drive regulatory compliance, especially RBI guidelines related to co-lending, KYC norms, credit documentation, and reporting standards.
  • Manage a credit team focused on co-lending evaluations and performance monitoring.
  • Support product and business teams in launching new retail credit programs and optimizing existing ones from a credit perspective.

Qualification details:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or Economics (MBA/CA/CFA preferred).

Experience details:

  • 8-10 years of experience in retail credit within a bank or NBFC, preferably 2-3 years of experience in a co-lending or partner-driven credit role

Other Criteria:

  • Maximum age limit is 40 years at the time of application
  • Strong understanding of retail credit risk, the co-lending model, regulatory framework (including RBI norms), and operational requirements.
  • Proficient in using Excel, MIS tools, and loan management systems.
  • Familiarity with LOS, LMS, bureau APIs, and data-based decisioning tools.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
