The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing daily business operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability. This role leads cross-functional teams, drives process improvements, manages budgets, and ensures operational strategies align with organizational goals.

Role & responsibilities :

Operational Leadership

  • Lead, manage, and mentor operations teams across departments
  • Establish operational goals, KPIs, and performance standards

Process Optimization

  • Analyze and improve operational processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs
  • Implement best practices, SOPs, and continuous improvement initiatives

Strategic Planning

  • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Support expansion, scaling, and change management initiatives

Financial & Resource Management

  • Prepare and manage operational budgets and forecasts
  • Monitor costs, productivity, and resource utilization

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain quality control and risk management practices

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with senior leadership, vendors, and clients
  • Resolve operational issues and escalate risks when necessary

Reporting & Analytics

  • Track performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management
  • Use data insights to drive operational decisions

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 812 years of operations experience, with 3–5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Strong understanding of operations management, process improvement, and cost control
