JOB DESCRIPTION Vice President (Supply Chain Management)

ROLE PURPOSE

Metro Infrasys is entering a high-growth phase as India accelerates MLFF (Multi-Lane Free Flow), ATMS, and intelligent mobility deployments.

The Vice President – SCM will lead the transformation of the supply chain into a worldclass, process-driven, technology-integrated ecosystem

capable of supporting a 500–1,000+ crore expansion roadmap.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Delivery & Fulfillment Leadership

• Ensure 100% On-Time Delivery (OTD) for all material categories.

• Build a unified material readiness framework for multi-disciplinary deliveries.

• Establish TAT-based digital dashboards and automated tracking.

B. Vendor Development & Ecosystem Building

• Develop a multi-disciplinary vendor ecosystem across electronics, fabrication, ITS hardware, and civil supplies.

• Implement QDCR-driven supplier performance management.

• Drive vendor de-risking and multi-sourcing strategy.

C. Supply Chain Enhancement & Process Excellence

• Build an automotive-grade process ecosystem with SOPs, audits, and lean systems.

• Lead supply chain digitization via ERP/SAP.

• Establish forecasting, planning, and governance mechanisms.

D. Warehousing & Inventory Optimization

• Build modern warehousing infrastructure.

• Ensure 99%+ inventory accuracy and traceability.

• Reduce slow-moving stock and optimize material flow.

E. Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead large teams across procurement, planning, warehousing, and logistics.

• Align with engineering, projects, QA, finance, and leadership teams.

• Build scalable systems to support 500–2000 Cr growth.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 15–20 years SCM leadership experience.

• Must have worked in a 500 Cr+ organization or handled equivalent procurement volume.

• Engineering degree (B.Tech/B.E.) is Preferable

• Experience in automotive or highly process-driven industries is essential.

• Hands-on experience with ERP/SAP, vendor development, warehousing, and procurement strategy.

METRO INFRASYS ROADMAP OF GROWTH

• Lead role in India's MLFF transformation.

• ATMS expansion across 50,000+ km.

• Product line expansion in smart mobility hardware.

• Move toward integrated EPC+ITS execution capability.

• Organizational scaling from 500 Cr 1,000 Cr 2,000 Cr.
