  • Develop and implement strategic plans for integration of EVTHS into CSC 2.0, aligned with NACO-approved guidelines.
  • Design and oversee EVTHS program components ensuring elimination of vertical transmission of HIV and syphilis.
  • Integrate EVTHS services into broader care and support, and maternal and child health programs through effective referrals and linkages.
  • Strengthen systems for post-natal care for HIV-infected mothers and HIV-exposed infants, including Early Infant Diagnosis (EID).
  • Design and implement community outreach programs to raise awareness on EVTHS and promote health-seeking behavior among pregnant women.
  • Facilitate partnerships and collaborations with public and private ANC clinics, ART centers, and institutional delivery mechanisms.
  • Identify technical assistance needs of Sub-Recipients (SRs) and Sub-Sub Recipients (SSRs) and coordinate provision of TA support.
  • Organize and conduct trainings, workshops, and refresher courses on EVTHS, HIV, syphilis, and STI prevention using updated national curriculum and protocols.
  • Build capacities of SR/SSR teams and stakeholders through continuous sensitization and awareness sessions on EVTHS and care, support, and treatment (CST) integration.
  • Provide supportive supervision and on-site support to SRs/SSRs to enhance quality, coverage, and impact of EVTHS services.
  • Establish robust data collection, analysis, and reporting systems for tracking EVTHS program performance.
  • Review M&E analyses to identify programmatic gaps and translate findings into actionable strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and provide periodic feedback to project teams.
  • Conduct internal program monitoring, participate in reviews, and prepare monthly and quarterly progress reports.
  • Document lessons learned, success stories, innovations, and best practices for cross-learning among implementing partners.
  • Ensure effective coordination with SRs/SSRs, development partners, and community-based organizations for synergy building.
  • Advocate for policies and resource mobilization to support EVTHS initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational work plans, quality standards, and timelines for deliverables.
  • Undertake other responsibilities not outlined above, which are commensurate with a role of this nature in the not-for-profit sector, which have been discussed and agreed upon between the line manager and the position holder.

MBBS with master's degree in public health or equivalent with 12-15 years of experience.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in HIV/EVTHS program including clinical management of HIV and STI, Antiretroviral Therapy preferred. Knowledge of Elimination of Vertical Transmission of HIV and Syphilis would be an added advantage
  • Strong technical, analytical and clinical knowledge and skills
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task with minimal supervision and able to travel in short notice

IT Skills:

  • Proficient in computer skill in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to collect, consolidate inputs from team members and consolidate project performance in various reports
  • Prepare small briefs and success stories for various IT platforms

Coordination with stakeholders:

  • Able to coordinate and communicate with diverse teams and maintain positive working relationships
  • Planning and executing time-bound activities- meetings, trainings, reviews and discussions
  • Represent HLFPPT on diverse platforms including NACO, SACS and other officials' meetings

Language:

  • Proficiency in English and Hindi language
