Job Description – Accounts Executive (Semi Qualified CA)

Location: Dadar, Mumbai

Office Timings: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Working Days: 5 Days (1st & 3rd Saturday – Half Day, 2nd & 4th Saturday – Weekly Off)

Salary Range: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month

Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualification: Semi Qualified CA (CA Inter)
  • Experience: 4–5 years in Accounts & Finance
  • Gender: Male / Female
  • IT Skills: Proficiency in Tally Accounting Software & MS Office

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Invoicing & Receivables Accounting

  • Raise client invoices (including e-invoicing) and pass accounting entries
  • Record client remittances and reconcile with bank entries
  • Account for TDS deducted by clients and reconcile with Form 26AS (quarterly)
  • Follow up with clients for pending payments
  • Prepare and submit weekly receivables report to management

2. Vendor Payments & Payables Accounting

  • Process vendor invoices and record payable liabilities
  • Make vendor payments and update accounting records
  • Prepare reports on vendor advances and pending invoices

3. Banking Operations

  • Update and download bank statements regularly
  • Record all receipts and payments in accounts
  • Handle intra-group loans/advances and related accounting
  • Prepare weekly bank balance report for management
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
  • Coordinate for bank account opening/closure

4. Investments & Income from Investments

  • Account for share/mutual fund investments and redemptions
  • Process investment-related payments
  • Record dividend and interest receipts
  • Reconcile TDS/dividend/interest with Form 26AS/AIS quarterly
  • Liaise with PMS/Bank RMs for demat activities
  • Handle PPF and other investment-related payments

5. Insurance

  • Process insurance premium renewals and related accounting

6. Payroll

  • Prepare payroll for 15–20 staff members
  • Process salary payouts and related accounting
  • Compute and pay Professional Tax (PT)

7. TDS

  • Ensure correct TDS deductions on vendor payments
  • File TDS returns within statutory timelines

8. GST

  • Coordinate with outsourced CA firm for GSTR-1 filing
  • Review GSTR-2B for ITC eligibility & prepare final figures for GSTR-3
  • Ensure timely GST tax payments

9. MIS & Final Accounts

  • Prepare monthly MIS reports – Cash Flow, Investments, P&L, Balance Sheet
  • Prepare year-end Final Accounts with Schedules for statutory audit across group entities (Individuals / LLP / Pvt Ltd Companies)
