Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Manager Purchase, located in Ludhiana. The Assistant Manager Purchase will handle procurement activities, manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely availability of goods and materials. The role involves monitoring procurement budgets, maintaining accurate records, and working closely with supply chain and production teams to align purchasing with company objectives. The candidate will also identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure compliance with company policies and ethical practices.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in procurement, vendor management, contract negotiation, and inventory management.
  • Strong analytical and research abilities to evaluate suppliers, market trends, and pricing strategies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills to build and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet tools and ERP systems for managing procurement workflows and maintaining records.
  • Ability to manage budgets, track expenditures, and analyze cost-saving strategies.
  • Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective time management.
  • Prior experience in the manufacturing or engineering industry is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
