Direct Acres Execution Manager 

POSITION PURPOSE:

• Bayer Direct Acres, driving scale through tailored solutions for paddy farmers and enabling their transition to the Direct Seeded Rice system, while advancing cultivation through mechanization, digital solutions, and regenerative practices to deliver sustainable growth for business and the future of agriculture.
• Selected candidate to drive the scale up of Dry Direct Seeded Rice - DirectAcres & Arize in North1

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Co- own the vision and roadmap for Direct Seeded rice - Direct Acres venture in the geography of operation
• Be accountable and drive the Bayer Direct Acres Pilot geographies & scaleup commercial geography proposal with target acreages
• Drive the execution with farmer as center focus of all the tasks
• Create geography/cluster  wise work streams for DirectAcre implementation, allocation of resources & necessary digital/physical training platforms
• Implementation of digital interfaces for farmer registrations , Data recording ( Till Harvests) & monitoring through dedicated resources, it's compilation & analysis
• Aligning with commercial squads , external partners,  BLF & FPOs to assign package delivery points for the project in North 1 unit  and beyond.
• Workout the service provider points (Seed sowing with seed drills & spraying ) along with   mechanization team to provide sowing/spraying service in time
• Ensure agronomic package delivery through printed/digital – Farmrise/ Whatsapp  Ask Deena Chatbot platform to all registered farmers
• As required Linkage & enrolment of DirectAcre farmers with Bayer  Alivio
• Steer and review Fortnightly project progress reports & update stakeholders
• A close watch on anticipated  failures (weed escapes, poor germination) & align stakeholders to manage complaints at the earliest & address the farmer
• Document farmer DSR adoption (Bayer DirectAcres) journey during enrolments – convincing factors, concerns, package feedbacks for solution offer improvements
• Work Closely with external stakeholders and Partners to scale the Direct Acres

WHO YOU ARE:

• Graduate in agriculture or business (Management education will be an added advantage)
• Passionate, collaborative and committed to work independently and deliver results
• 7-9 years exposure to various facets in the agriculture/rural industry
• Adapting to the changing landscape and with a venture mindset
• Analytical abilities, communication skills, leadership qualities & positive attitude
• Capability to network well with cross functions within Bayer  and external Partners
